And the resident/resident family is responsible for all payments regarding medications. Genesis also does not write out any medication scripts.
  • Over the counter items — If the resident needs anything extra not included in basic day to daycare, it is the responsibility of the family to provide anything extra. For example anti-itch creams, eye drops, nasal spray, special soaps/shampoo/detergent, etc. Most of these are available as prescriptions so please consult the doctor or house manager with any questions.
  • Transportation — We do not provide transport of any kind for a resident or their belongings.
  • Purchase of Personal Belongings — We are not responsible for providing clothes, shoes, etc for the residents. It is the families responsibility to make sure that the resident has all they need for day to day life.
  • Diapers/Pads — We are not responsible for providing the residents with any of their incontinent care needs. The family must make sure that the resident is provided for and to keep track of the supply at the facility.

  • Pillows/Cushions — Genesis provides each resident with a bed pillow and a couch cushion. Anything extra that the resident needs we are not required to provide for them.
  • Haircuts — Genesis has a visiting stylist come to each house every other month to cut the resident's hair for a fee. This is not included in the rent and must be paid upfront for the haircut to be given.
